Terrorism and Political Violence Model

Question: Discuss about the Terrorism and Political Violence Model. Answer: Introduction: Spice Bowl is the new name in the town, and almost each resident of Victoria as well as the new tourists are unable to control their mouth from watering, while gorging on the Caprese Sandwich and bacon cheeseburger. While we spoke with the owner of the newly set up restaurant, Roger Jones, about his experience of the newly found success, the man replied in a soft, humble tone, My dream had to be true. I had been a foodie since when I dont remember, and I knew that I would make it big someday in the restaurant industry only. As a man of easygoing attitude, Jones does not mind having an hour spent while answering to the interview questions, and rather he was placid, calm and composed throughout the interview. There is an element of self-assurance in whatever he says, and that impresses anyone. On being asked what had inspired him to achieve success, Jones replied with a tone of rigid determination: When you want to do big things, you do it. Of course, there are obstacles; I had many, including the impoverished family I was born into, and lack of financial and moral support on part of my family and so on and so forth. I believe you do things if you want it hard. I am not inspired by any, as I never could come across strong, inspirational names on my way, until I chose to become one. Having no education at all, I never went to school to let my teachers inspire me with big names. Living in a small, remote town, I did not meet people to motivate me. A man, though less educated than most of the businessmen of the time, is nevertheless a highly philosophical individual who has a comprehensive understanding of the way the life works. He is humble, and his eyes are always downcast, and yet his dreams never fail to soar high. Unlike most of the businessmen, Jones is not always excited about his life, sharing inspirational success mantras every now and then. The only maxim he follows in life is : Stay modest, work hard, and dream bigger. Nothing can stop you from becoming successful and retaining the success in future. I have just started off, there are more milestones to achieve before I can talk of my success. The more successful you will think yourself, the less you can achieve. I think I have come from a poor family, and I have done a lot, as compared to my other family members, but it was also my destiny path that led me to success. Everything happens in time, and this is my time, maybe. The best trait in Jones character that can easily impress anyone easily is his ability to stay grounded and ac modestly. He is one of the most humble gentlemen one can come across in his life. He has riches, but he never forgets that hard work only brought the same, and hence there is nothing to flaunt about. He believes in his ability, yet he never forgets to thank his parents. With a teary-eyed face , Jones says My parents have not educated me, because they could not. There are days they kept themselves hungry to see us fed. But my mother would always tell me and my siblings, that life is hard, but we are harder. It cannot break us. I am self-made, but my parents always made me believe that I could be successful despite having no education at all. However, it is a less-known fact that Jones got minimal or no support from his parents, while starting up his business. Taking a loan for business would have meant mortgaging themselves for business: My father did not speak to me for a y ear; my mother opposed me as well. They said I cannot be successful by taking away breads from my brothers. But I knew I was right, I had to take risks with my health and my future, if I were to become big, and objection was an expected part of it. Jones can be seen now staying happily in a mediocre, simple villa, with his family, though he has a huge fortune of a combined net worth of $15 million. He goes to his restaurant chains, supervises them every 5 day a week, and come back. He does not lead a life of glitz and glamour. Unlike many others, he does now own lavish cars, expensive houses or designer clothes. Though Spice Bowl is merely a start-up that had started up in the year of 2010 it had been able to draw the attention of a large number of consumers and his retention strategies are too good. Jones is quoted sharing his consumer retention strategies My employees are being told from Day 1, that you have to be polite to them. My restaurant may not give away discounts throughout the year, but the quality of the food served should be high, and the staff behavior should be extraordinarily well. I became everything because of my clients, who wished to choose to eat from my restaurant. I am grateful to them, and I wish to ens ure the best for them. My staffs are rated on the basis of their behavior, and I reward them accordingly. The dedication of the working staffs of Spice Bowl is beyond comparison. The restaurant closes at 10 PM, but if a customer happens to come over at 9:59 PM, the working staffs would stay back, cook him his food, let him eat, and then only would close the shop. On being asked to comment about the dedication of his staffs, Jones replies in a simple, modest tone: My staffs and I work with the same conviction. Work hard, and serve those who pay you money in the best possible way. There is no shortcut to success. Be the best if you want to survive, and people will adore you. With a face radiating with satisfaction, optimism and a strong wish to work harder, Roger Jones is a true inspiration for many aspiring businessmen across the country.
